It’s still the start of a brand-new year and with it comes the buzz of goal-setting. From fitness routines to career aspirations, many of us have mapped out plans for what we want to achieve in 2025.
No doubt a new year, a new month, a new day presents an opportunity for a fresh start. However, amidst all the resolutions, there’s one area often overlooked: our relationships.
This year, my wife and I want to challenge you to invest and nurture your relationships—not just with those closest to you but across every sphere of your life. Your relationship with God, your significant other, your friends, your colleagues, and even your community members are all integral to your success in 2025.
Healthy relationships are more than just connections; they are investments that can buy for you what money cannot buy. When nurtured, they yield dividends which may reflect as a solid community, door openers, opportunities leverage, burden bearers and contribute to years of joy, growth, and fulfillment. But when neglected, they can drain us emotionally and spiritually.
So, what are you doing with your relationships this year?
Through intuition and experiences as we walk alongside many individuals and navigate life’s journey, we have come to see the importance of investing in our relationships and ensuring we have more deposits than withdrawals in our relationship banks.
Many often get hurt and bitter when they don’t understand the length and breadth of relationships in their lives or how to approach them intentionally.
That’s why we created the 6Cs Relationship Wheel—a simple yet powerful tool designed to help you identify the various categories of relationships in your life. This wheel divides your connections into categories, making it easier to assess who fits into where, identify where you might need more attention or start building where you need to.
Whether it’s the spiritual connection with God, the intimacy you share with your partner, the company of your friends, or even the professional relationships with colleagues, the 6Cs Relationship Wheel encourages you to reflect and be intentional.
Watch out for the next blog post on how to use this 6Cs Relationships Wheel and the steps you can take to strengthen your relationships.
